Connect a sub-domain

You can connect a custom sub-domain to PostQuicker such as blog.yourdomain.com using CNAME.

To connect your sub-domain to your PQ blog, first, you need to add your sub-domain in your PostQuicker account:

  1. From your PQ admin, go to Settings > Domains.
  2. Click on Add a new domain.
  3. Enter your sub-domain.
  4. Click Add domain.

The next step is to point your sub-domain to Postquicker servers. To do that, go to your domain registrar5 and edit the DNS settings of your domain name.

Add a CNAME pointing to  sites.pqsite.com.

In the example of blog.yourdomain.com, you need to create a CNAME with the name blog pointing to sites.pqsite.com.

Note: Once you save the CNAME, it can take up to 24 hours to propagate and properly point to your PQ blog.

Tip: To check your A record and CNAME (where your site is currently pointing), you can use WhatsMyDNS.net.
